The STORYMINUTE Process
CONNECT:
Thank you for submitting your info. You should receive an email with a link to set up a brief call with us. We will ask a few questions and if we agree that it’s a good fit, we will set up a story discovery meeting.
Story Discovery
In our first meeting, we will ask questions and listen carefully. In fact, we might not say much at all. But by the end of the meeting you should have better clarity about your story and why you exist. Maybe you already have a solid understanding of your story and you’re looking for someone to help you communicate that. We would love to help.
Pre-Production
If you are ready to take the next step and make a video with us, We will take our meeting notes and draft a script and visual storyline for the video. The development process is collaborative so we will set up a meeting to finalize the script, visual storyline, etc. Location, talent scouting, and all the logistics that go into executing a video production will be planned out and communicated with you and your team.
Production:
We’ve done all the planning and prep work so now we are ready to capture your story on camera. The cost of production is determined by the complexity of the shoot and the number of days required to capture everything. Our goal is to shoot everything in one day. In fact, we will write the script and visual storyline with the intention of capturing all of it in one day.
Post-Production:
After the shooting is done, we will begin processing and editing footage. We will add music and make color corrections so that your STORYMINUTE sounds and looks like it should.
One round of revisions are done at no extra cost (excluding extra shoot days). If a second round of revisions is needed, or if additional shooting is needed, we will discuss price adjustments and may require an additional deposit.
COST:
STORY DISCOVERY = $150 (cost can be credited to pre-production cost)
Includes:
Initial meeting = 1-2 hour in person meeting. Deliverable is a story outline.
PRE-PRODUCTION = $500
Story draft and shot list.
Production Day Rate
Production costs depend on a lot of things. It all depends on your budget and how complicated the shoot is. We always try our best to meet our clients needs and we communicate everything up front before you commit to anything.
Post-Production Estimate:
Most STORYMINUTES take about 2 days for editing and one day to create custom music.
Editing = $400/day
music = $400/day
Option to license an existing song, starting at $400.
